Students will learn the fundamentals of needle felting, creating a bangle bracelet using sheep’s wool in a wide range of colors. The art of felting has been around for centuries. Needle felting—a relatively new technique—requires fewer tools and is not messy like traditional techniques using water and friction. After creating the bracelet form, students are encouraged to embellish their bangle in a variety of ways covered in the class. You can even bring your own dog or cat’s fur to add, making for a really personalized creation!
